Delete your account and data

This page explains how to permanently delete your TicketPlan account (app.ticketplan.nl) and all associated data. You can delete your account yourself in the app or request deletion by email. Below you will find the exact steps and which data is erased or retained.

In the TicketPlan app you can delete your account yourself in a few steps:

1. Open the TicketPlan app and log in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Go to Account settings.
4. Choose Delete account.
5. Tap Delete.

Your account and all associated data are then deleted immediately and permanently. This action cannot be undone.

Can no longer log in, or prefer us to handle it? Send an email to privacy@ticketplan.nl with:

• the subject “Account deletion request”;
• the email address or username of your account.

We verify the request and delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once this is done.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased:

• Your account details (first name, last name, username, email address and hashed password)
• All tickets and ticket data (event name, date, venue)
• All uploaded PDF files
• Your preferences (theme, calendar view, language)
• Your personal email alias for submitting tickets
• Your friendships, shared tickets and notifications

After deletion, in principle no personal data remains. The only exception is technical system logs:

• System logs (for example IP address and login timestamp) are kept for security reasons and then automatically erased.
  Additional retention period: up to 30 days after deletion.

After this period we keep no copies of your account or tickets. In exceptional cases a legal obligation may require us to retain certain data longer; outside of those situations we retain nothing longer than stated above.
